That’s why we’re launching the Brickell Happy Hour Network at Blackbird Ordinary.
Starting Wednesday, June 17th, we’ll be gathering every Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the main bar area to create a new kind of networking experience. One that blends real-world connections with content creation and collaboration.
Why We Decided To Add Utility To the Networkers
Traditional networking events tend to focus on exchanging business cards and making introductions.
Those things still matter.
But today, visibility matters too.
Many of us are building businesses, personal brands, podcasts, social media channels, creative projects, and communities online. The people we meet in person can become collaborators, clients, guests, partners, and friends.
The Brickell Happy Hour Network is designed to help make those connections happen naturally.
Think of it as a creative coworking space with an added happy hour.
Modern Challenges In Connecting
One of the biggest challenges for creators and professionals is simply finding people to create with.
At each event, we’ll have content creation equipment available for attendees to use.
Want to record a podcast?
Need someone to interview?
Looking for guests, collaborators, or people to feature in your content?
Bring your own equipment or use ours.
We’ll have cameras, microphones, and recording setups available throughout the evening. You can interview us, interview other attendees, or simply connect with people who are building interesting things around Miami.
The goal is to create an environment where people leave with more than contacts. They leave with actual content, collaborations, and opportunities.
The Best Connections Happen Casually
Some of the most valuable relationships are formed over conversations that weren’t planned.
That’s why we’re keeping things simple.
Blackbird Ordinary will be offering 2-for-1 happy hour drinks, and we’ll be giving away a limited number of complimentary shots at 7:00 PM for those who arrive on time.
Not because networking needs alcohol to work, but because we just want to make it a place to relax into coworking when they’re having fun. And relaxed people tend to have better conversations.
Introducing A Co-Hosting Approach
I’ll be hosting the event alongside my friend Luke Prince.
Our goal is to create a welcoming space where both newcomers and longtime Miami locals can connect without the awkwardness that often comes with networking events.
Whether you’re growing a business, building a brand, launching a creative project, or simply looking to meet good people, you’ll find others who are doing the same.
Stay for Wingman Wednesdays
After the networking event, Luke and I will be co-hosting Wingman Wednesdays, a new interactive comedy show focused on dating, relationships, romance, single life, and everything that makes modern dating both fascinating and completely ridiculous.
It’s a fun and interactive way to continue the evening while meeting even more people from the community.
