Our Inaugural Digital Marketing Jumpstart is an Exclusive Networking Event and Workshop for Entrepreneurs Learning to Master Online Business.

When it comes to meeting new connections and receiving information, choosing what is right and what is wrong may be overwhelming.

Anytime I see an advertisement for something being sold, I always see it as something that is seen in one perspective: the seller.

However, if that particular ad were to mention something I can agree upon, I get a sense that there is a mutual connection because we share the same perspective!

The same goes for debates, power struggles, and judging others.

The natural tendency is to gravitate towards that which we are familiar with.

It may seem counter-intuitive to understand multiple points of views to optimize our own.

Confirmation Bias

Confirmation Bias is a common fallacy in thinking when you search for information or points of views to make your beliefs more truthful.

This common practice developing a perspective allows tunnel vision to occur.

On the other hand, if you instead did the counter-intuitive method of listening to a counterpoint, you can refine what you believe in based on the contradictory information.

Doing this requires listening skills, great communication, understanding, curiosity and ofcourse patience.

Developing A Better Understanding Through Network Learning

Have you ever seen a microchip up close?

The same way all of these nodes of information compile to make a larger node allows an entire operating system to emerge and complete a multitude of tasks it was designed for.

This is a great example to show what the process of Network Learning is capable of achieving.

You and your capabilities is the contributing factor to make this process possible.

Picture how microchips have evolved over time with the capacity of holding information, the same way you and those you learn from are capable to compact more and more of the right kinds of information to make a better operating system.

Especially with the internet speeding up this process.

And when you have multiple access to different kinds of information, being sent quickly, the operating system optimizes in a much more effective way.

In order to succeed, people need a sense of self-efficacy, to struggle together with resilience to meet the inevitable obstacles and inequities of life. - Albert Bandura
